evolved from the uprisings of 2020, in the wake of police shootings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Jacob Blake. Jacob Blake himself is on the board of Edifye, his brother Pauly Jackson is the executive director, and the family is closely involved in our organizing work. Edifye arose from the spirit of the NBA/WNBA work stoppages in response to Jacob's shooting in Kenosha, WI. The Milwaukee Bucks were the team that started this massive showing of solidarity, and they were responding directly to an injustice that happened near their community.

The Evolved Network
was founded to honor Sebastian White's father and aunt who passed away unexpectedly in the spring of 2020. Under Sebastian's direction, TEN has since made its mission to offer unconditional care through a holistic and therapeutic approach, to build a foundation for impoverished youth through their creation of a farm-to-table dining experience. It's a means to comfort the soul through their service, and acts of radical hospitality.
